phpBB2MODs.com ... Under New Management ... |
The domain name phpBB2Mods.com was started by AbelaJohnB several years ago. John was one of the original MOD authors for phpBB and had a long involvement with the project. However, as people move through life their plans can change. In early 2006 John decided that it was time to move on from phpBB altogether. I had worked with John on a few small projects. When it came time for him to "retire" from phpBB he offered me the option of taking over his board and his MODs. I thought about it for a bit and decided to take him up on the offer. I really had planned to do a lot more with the site than I have so far, but projects can move slow when there are multiple demands on one person's time. Even if I don't sleep that much. I have a catalog of MODs from John's library here. I have reviewed and updated and tweaked a number of his MODs and those can be found in this forum at least for now. I have intended to work through the rest of his MODs but at this time don't have any estimated time of completion. Please do not contact Mr. Abela for support! If you want to drop him a note to say "Thanks" for his involvement in phpBB over the years, there is a contact form in his farewell message.
